The Djibouti Ports & Free Zones Authority

The Djibouti Ports & Free Zones Authority is the governing authority that sets the rules, directives and overarching principles for the smooth and efficient running of the current, and any future ports and free zones, in Djibouti. It is also responsible for the enforcement and implementation of these principles and directives at every free zone in the country.

DPFZA is the sole authority in charge of the administration and the control of all the free zones in Djibouti. The entity plays an instrumental role as the sole interface between the free zone companies and any other governmental bodies and comes under the direct authority of the Djibouti Presidential Office.
